Overview
In late 2023, Mid & South Essex NHS Foundation Trust and its partners Basildon Borough Council and Essex County Council, were granted Outline Planning Permission for a new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), on the site of the existing Pitsea Leisure Centre (The Place). Situated on Norlands Pavement in Pitsea, the proposed scheme will provide a range of diagnostic facilities, including Imaging and Endoscopy and other Outpatient services as part of the national roll-out of CDC's across the country.
