The Building Connectivity Project forms part of L&Q's Corporate Plan for Investment in the Quality of Homes. Through projects like this we will be improving the way we manage and monitor properties through smart technologies. The Building Connectivity Project will put the infrastructure, network and equipment in place to create an improved approach to managing communal building services such as boiler plant, lifts, fire alarms and hot & cold water pumps. Rather than relying on residents to be our alarm system when a Building Service breaks down, we will receive live information on faults and be able to proactively arrange a call out with our maintenance contractors.
