Bluetooth Network for Tracking Traffic Movements

This contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of Bluetooth equipment for tracking traffic movements. Suppliers must provide 1 year's manufacturer's warranty for any hardware included free of charge, with a no replacement cost within this period plus 1 years software support. The objective of this procurement is to establish a Bluetooth network to ensure reasonable coverage of the highway network to obtain real time data updates on traffic activities which includes origin and destination and journey time data and to provide feeds into the central UTMC database for the purpose of strategic highway network management and modelling using historical and actual data.
