To deliver a Beat the Streets programme in Rotherham. The aim will be to reach 12,000 people primarily via schools but also through community groups and events. The objectives of BTS Rotherham, are specifically to: Create a technology based challenge to get more people active, through walking, running and cycling Demonstrate through an evaluation that the format increases physical activity amongst a defined population Leave a legacy of a working sustainable model that shows increased physical activity 6 months after the live competition period. Reduce the negative health impacts created by the covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns
