B5389 Cancer information system

The Trust is investigating the options for provision of a cancer information system. The Trust has been using its current system since 1998 to provide statutory information, support of clinical audit for cancer care, and more recently developing functionality to support management of care in Radiotherapy. The system is currently used by many departments across the Trust and in neighbouring Trusts and healthcare organisations where direct patient care is provided on a tertiary basis. Prior to commencing a potential formal procurement process the Trust would like to better understand the current market and options that are available to us.
