Overview
MCA currently has an Enterprise Subscription Agreement (ESA) with Comparex (now Software One). This entitles and enable us to add licenses for desktop and server applications. The ESA also allows us to credit our azure subscription with a financial commitment for Azure hosted services. The advice from Microsoft was to under allocate these credits and top up when needed. We are moving services over to the Azure cloud platform as part of the I&T Cloud first strategy in line with the DfT Digital Strategy. We can only purchase these credits from the above supplier as they are the incumbent provider under our current ESA.
