The National Autism Peer Education Programme overarching aim is to provide autism education and training to families, carers, and personal assistants, and any other identified and agreed parties delivered in partnership by peer educators and subject matter experts. This work will directly underpin the aims as set out in the Department of Health and Social Care National Strategy for Autistic Children, Young People and Adults, NHS Long Term Plan and Building the Right Support.
