Luton Council's Population Wellbeing directorate, incorporating Housing services is responsible for, and currently manages approximately 7,700 council properties, 900 leasehold dwellings, 1200 temporary accommodation properties and a significant number of other assets, such as garages, as well as all associated tenancies, leases, contracts and maintenance obligations. Our current approach to Housing Management is driven and controlled at service level.
