Overview
Leicester City Council is considering commissioning a carer support service for Leicester. It is anticipated, dependent upon an engagement exercise, that tenders for this service would be sought in January 2024, to enable a new contract to begin from July 2024, immediately after the end of our current contract providing carer support services to Leicester. As part of the commissioning process, the Council is undertaking a soft market test to gauge the views and interest of the market in providing this training. The Council shall use the feedback from the SMT to appraise options and identify a preferred option for implementation. This might result in a tender exercise for this service.…
