Task 1 - Image Enhancement of Port Profiler Videos Development of a software function to enhance the image quality of existing inspection videos. The university will apply their existing image enhancement techniques (which were developed for a different application) to existing videos. They will then evaluate the results and further develop the implementation of the algorithms to make then suitable for use on the inspection videos. Task 2 - Image Processing for Corrosion Detection in SPRS Development of image processing techniques to automatically detect and quantify corrosion in inspection videos of SPRS.
