Overview

Doncaster CCG would like to commission several pieces of work to enable hospital patients whose needs are hard to meet to be successfully discharged into the community as part of the Assuring Transformation process. There is a small cohort of patients, currently detained under the Mental Health Act, with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder, often with co-morbid diagnoses, who require Applied Behavioural Analysis to identify their unmet needs and to develop and implement effective external boundaries and care techniques to reduce the unwanted behaviours that present a barrier to discharge.
