Ambient Food

National framework agreement for ambient food products — tender for supply of dried goods and preserves, nutritional supplements, commodities and seasonal canned goods, non-seasonal goods to the NHS Supply Chain on a national and local basis. It is anticipated that initial expenditure will be in the region of estimated annual value of GBP 15 000 000 in the first year of this framework agreement, however this is approximate only and the values may vary depending on the requirements of those bodies purchasing under the framework agreement.

Whilst it is anticipated that initial expenditure under any forthcoming procurement will be in the region of £60,000,000.

Procurement of the following categories to be delivered to NHS supply chain depots via the stocked route of supply: Canned Goods Oral Nutritional Supplements, Thickeners & Glucose Products Cereals & Porridge Jams Reduced Sugar Jam Gravy, Bouillons and Cooking Sauces Single Serve Instant Soup Bulk Soup Custard Condiments Sugar Sugar Portions Sweeteners Milk Powder & Portions Non-Diary Milk Edible Oils Grocery Lines
