Overview

The Borough Council of Calderdale is seeking expressions of interest for a suitable provider for the Advocacy Service. The Advocacy Service is for adults and young people aged 16-18 years. The service provided must ensure the Council meets its statutory requirements in relation to the provision of advocates including Care Act Advocates, Independent Mental Capacity Advocates, Independent Mental Health Advocates and paid Relevant Person's Representatives. The service will ensure the smooth transition in arrangements to Liberty Protection Safeguards as required.
