Nottinghamshire County Council is the administering authority for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) within Nottinghamshire. The LGPS is a statutory scheme administered by individual pension funds. As required by the Public Service Pensions Act 2013, the Council has a Local Pensions Board ("the Board") which assists with ensuring compliance with the regulations and the requirements of the Pensions Regulator and ensuring the effective and efficient governance and administration of the Pension Fund.
