Adoption Support - Family Therapy

Adoptive families face significant challenges. Many children entering adoptive placements have experienced past neglect and suffered trauma. Adoptive parents often experience self-doubt and feel hurt and rejected by the behaviour of their adopted children. The provision of family therapy plays a crucial role in helping children and their adoptive families to develop strong lasting relationships and attachments, therefore preventing adoption breakdowns.
