Overview

Highways England seeks to appoint a design partner to deliver their design for the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Scheme. The design partner is responsible for delivering their design through PCF stages 3 and 4 (preliminary design and development consent order), after which they will provide continuity to the A66 procured design and build contractors, working collaboratively with the contractors throughout the remaining stages 5 to 7 (detailed design and construction) as a technical adviser (TA), contracted to Highways England.
