The College of Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) at Aston University is seeking to acquire an e-motor test system for durability and functionality testing of electric motors for electric vehicles (EVs) following standard and no-standard test cycles. This system will form part of their integral research programme looking at Sustainable Energy and Transport. To meet the requirements, the e-motor test system must meet the following criteria: - Be able to test electric motors for EVs with rated power up to about 175 kW, rated torque 420 N.m, and rated speed 16,0000 rpm, with inertia equal or lower than 0.3 kg.m2. - Have the AC dynamometer mounted on a metal base plate for which air spring…
