2026-008 Support for ED3

The Electricity Distribution 3 (ED3) Cost Assessment team is currently in the process of delivering the Sector Specific Methodology Decision (SSMD) to be published in May 2026. This will set out Ofgem's methodology for assessing ED3 costs proposed by Distribution Network Operators (DNOs). Ofgem requires the support of a supplier to provide expert input drawing upon their extensive experience of working on cost assessment in previous price controls, including ED2.
