The University of Sheffield is out to tender on behalf of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for an X-ray diffractometer and high temperature stage. The closing date for return of tenders is Monday 11th May 2015 at 12 noon (UK time). We require a high performance diffractometer capable of rapid data collection from the wide diversity of materials studied by TUoS researchers – both small bulk pieces (pellets, off-cuts etc) and powdered specimens of ceramics, cements and refractories, metals and glasses.
