The Young Persons Drugs and Alcohol service provided in Rotherham is currently called 'Know the Score'. Part of the remit of this service will be a full service rebrand. This specialist service is for the support of children and young people to prevent onset of substance misuse and delay the onset of alcohol use. For those few that become dependent, the aim will be to become drug/alcohol free. This service requires interventions up to an individual's 18th birthday and where a transition is required to adult services, this should be a smooth one.
