Overview
The British Library is looking to purchase one dual page book capture system, designed to image heritage bound material in high volume. The scanning system must output images to standards specified in this document. The system and software must be compatible with the British Library IT technical standards. The scanner must capture bound books of up to A2 in size and with spines 20-25cm in width. It should be able to output a minimum of 350 Tiff images in one full working day or 10,000 images a month.
