The project comprises a two storey extension to the Wolfson Atmospheric Laboratories to provide an additional 525m2 of additional accommodation split across two stories. The main element of the new extension is a two storey wing running from east to west at 90 degrees to the axis of the original WACL building. This modifies the existing linear building into one with an L-shaped plan.
