Winter Weather Forecasting

The authorities operate an Ice Prediction System with Road Weather Outstations with road sensors which are installed at a number of locations on the road network throughout the area. The data provided by the outstations is shared between the Authorities. The outstations provide information on road conditions. The successful Contractor/Service Provider will be expected to manage this information and present it in a suitable format to the Authorities for use by its duty officers.
