ORE Catapult has a requirement for ropes to be used on 100kN/400kN/600kN hydraulically driven winches in their Blade Test 2 Facility at their site in Blyth, Northumberland. The winches can be used individually or as a group to apply loads during static blade tests in order to impart a bending moment on the wind turbine blade (test article).
