Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) has a requirement to procure a number of soil surveys to meet our requirement to manage the national forest estate. Survey requirements procured through this Framework include; - Site/soil surveys of afforested, clear felled, open land and ex-agricultural land. - Recording the site/soil patterns and associated specific data, using the FC soil classification. - Mapping Soil Polygons and associated linear and point data in a digital format. - Delivering all data outputs from the survey, as specific format GIS themes (currently a bespoke version of GIS Forester),…
