Surrey County Council owns two data centres, the primary one in Redhill and our disaster recovery site in Guildford. Within these facilities are a number of servers, networking and storage devices. A large proportion of the virtualised infrastructure is 'aging' and requires refresh to maintain compliance and supportability. As a result of our continuous drive to improve our Infrastructure estate Surrey County Council has decided to adopt a Hyper-converged Infrastructure technology stack and therefore is looking to replace the traditional Storage, Compute and networking layers…
