The University of Lincoln was seeking tenders for a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to replace an existing SEM that had reached the end of its supported life. The SEM will have a wide range of potential uses including imaging of biological specimens (e.g. insects, mammalian tissue sections) and elemental analysis / mapping of material samples etc. This opportunity has now closed and the supplier has been appointed.
