ORE Catapult is currently developing a technology test and development facility in Aberdeen, known as FLOWIC (Floating Offshore Wind Innovation Centre). As part of the development of this Centre, ORE Catapult is scoping the design, and in certain cases manufacture, of a suite of testing rigs. Within FLOWIC, there is a desire to have capability that can support the development of mooring components for floating offshore wind.
