Develop an NDE system that is capable of recording the position, attitude and live NDT data from NDT instruments, providing a permanent record of otherwise non-recorded output. Investigate the feasibility of developing a 6 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) tracking module that can be attached to handheld probes in a variety of manual Non Destructive Testing methods including UT, PAUT, EC, ECA, MIA and resonance with a special focus on UT and PAUT.
