Property Store Disposals

The PCC for Cheshire needs to dispose of property on an ad-hoc basis in a legitimate and transparent way to ensure the Force's integrity and reputation remain in tact. The property comes from a number of sources e.g. found property that has been handed in that the Force has been unable to identify or contact the rightful owner; seized property that turns out to have been stolen and therefore, cannot be returned to the person from whom it was seized; property that remains unclaimed after the owners' have been contacted and asked to collect it.
