The NCL ICB is undertaking an Urgent Care Review with the aim of determining what our long-term requirements from Primary Care will be in terms of Extended Access support. To allow time for this review to conclude we are seeking to extend the existing hubs to allow time for the review to conclude and a new solution to be procured. The urgent care review aligns to the national priority for seven-day services from 8am-8pm. The GP Forward View sets out a vision for primary care that supports greater access.
