“Creation of at last 23ha of wet reedbed by controlling water levels within the bunded area to provide optimum conditions to support at least one pair of breeding and wintering bittern and one pair of breeding marsh harriers. The remainder of the site to be managed as transition reedbed and grazing marsh to support these target species or to facilitate grazing management of the reedbed. Where possible and appropriate with respect the above primary objective, incorporate features and site management that will benefit other Biodiversity Action Plan species.”.
