Literacy Innovation Fund

Our vision is that everyone of working age and able to work should leave prison prepared for employment or further education and training. We want to establish a 'golden thread' of learning, skills development and progress across all areas of education, skills and work in custody to ensure every prisoner is on a learning, employment and personal development pathway towards outcomes on release. Two key priorities moving forward are improving literacy and numeracy of all prisoners and offering prisoners education, skill and work opportunities that will increase their prospects of finding a job…
