Kirkbridge Footbridge Refurbishment

Kirkbridge Footbridge is a multi-span bridge in South Elmsall carrying a footpath over the main east coast line between Minsthorpe Vale and Beaumont Avenue. The bridge is of steel construction with reinforced concrete foundations. The protective paint system has degraded, as has the surfacing to the steel deck. The entire structure is to be painted, with cladding panels and mesh being replaced with new items. The deck surfacing is to be removed and replaced with a combined waterproofing surfacing system.
