The works comprise of retrospective drainage works of existing accommodation units, required to gain full planning permission to retain the units permanently. Accommodation units were installed across the MoJ Estate between 2020 as part of the COVID / MUDR programmes. The COVID and MUDR accommodation units will continue to be used to manage prison capacity pressures whilst permanent places are provided in the estate to offset the losses.
