Highways Engineering Contractor Framework

In anticipation of successful funding applications for major road improvement schemes, South Tyneside Council,wishes to establish a Highways Engineering Contractor framework. Although no guarantees can be provided,the value of works to be placed via the framework is anticipated to be in the range £15-£20M. Over the next 3-4years there could be up to 4 schemes consisting of major junction and highway improvements. Each projectmay incorporate elements of new carriageway and footpath construction, local and major drainage works, utilitydiversions, retaining structures and other ancillary works.
