As part of a wider overhaul of guidance on The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 - the Fire Safety Order (FSO) - the Home Office is seeking to externally commission new guides and updates to existing guidance documents. The guidance in this requirement will be needed by Q1 of 2021 when the FSO may be revised to reflect the outcome of the Fire Safety Consultation. One of the two new guides required is an accessible but comprehensive 'how to' guidance that can be used by any person/company categorised as a 'Responsible Person'.
