The Internal Audit and Investigations Directorate (IAID) of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is in place to meet HM Treasury's requirements for the provision of internal audit set out in Public Sector Internal Audit Standards: Applying the IIA international standards to the public sector (PSIASs) (HM Treasury, March 2017).
