Transport for London (TfL) will be publishing a tender opportunity for Fatigue Detection Technology Consultancy Service in early January 2023. TfL is seeking consultancy support to undertake a multi-operator large-scale trial of Fatigue Detection Technology (FDT) on buses to understand the benefits of FDT on reducing fatigue amongst bus drivers. In addition, the other objective of the project is to understand associated benefits such as building a more open safety culture, and to inform any future roll-out of FDT.
