It has responsibility for minimising exposure to legal risk and ensuring that, in conjunction with other SLC departments, SLC acts in such a way as to ensure regulatory compliance. SLC's LS team require the support of a third party for specialist Legal advice to support key functions and represent SLC in Scottish, English & Welsh and NI courts as necessary.
