ECO Deemed Scores Project

ECO is a government energy efficiency scheme. It requires larger energy suppliers to meet carbon and cost saving targets through the delivery of energy efficiency measures to domestic premises. Energy suppliers calculate the energy savings achieved by the measures (and therefore the score for the measure) using the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) or RdSAP. This is done on a measure-by-measure basis. The calculations require a large number of inputs which are collected through site visits.
