As part of the green recovery process the Government are looking to allow trials of E-Scooters schemes. A proposal that meets all their requirements needs to be submitted to the Department for Transport who will approve the scheme. A soft market test exercise has been undertaken and a number of operators expressed an interest in taking part in a trail in Liverpool at no cost to the Council.
