Cycle to Work Scheme

The 1999 Finance Act introduced an annual tax exemption that allows employers to loan bicycles and safety equipment to employees as a tax-free benefit to reduce environmental pollution and promote healthier journeys. As a result, KCC runs typically two annual Cycle2Work schemes in pre-determined windows, usually in April and September.
