There is currently a research programme, the 'STRONG-Army' Study, which aims to determine how strong, British Army personnel are based on age, sex and job role. The Army HQ, RAPTC and Defence Rehabilitation strongly support this research programme as it may help improve fitness, prevent injuries, and guide rehabilitation in the future. Currently, this data is only being collected in Army personnel. The Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Air would like to collaborate on a similar programme, to allow personnel to benefit from the same information collected from the Army. This is the basis of…
