Connected and Autonomous Plant

Highways England ('the Employer') is looking to set up a contract for the provision of services to support the development of Connected and Autonomous Construction Plant. The aim of this Task is to work collaboratively with the industry to jointly develop a vision and roadmap for the staged implementation of connectivity and automation, to demonstrate the practical advances already achieved in this area, and to stimulate further development. This will ultimately provide a safer and more efficient environment for construction and maintenance schemes.
