The CASSANDRA Suite of tools (consisting of desktop CASSANDRA and eCASSANDRA) is the Authority's preferred tool for hazard log managment. It is required to provide the Authority with assurance that the Department identifies and manages equipment hazards which, if not controlled could cause accidents. All credible risks/hazards that have been identified must be demonstrably "as low as reasonably practible" (ALARP), which is the purpose of both Cassandra and eCassandra.
