North Yorkshire County Council with the CCG's currently commission services across North Yorkshire to provide "sitting services" for carers of adults in order to contribute to their wellbeing and help continue with their caring role. The service is for carers in order to give them a break from caring on a regular basis. This has been offered by allowing the carers to go out by providing a "sitter" for their cared for person or for the "cared for" person to be taken out.
