The Gambling Commission requires an externally facilitated Board Effectiveness Review (BER), to enable us to meet the requirements of Cabinet Office guidance for arm's-length bodies. This external BER will review the 2025-26 business year and will identify key recommendations for the Commission's Board effectiveness. We require the supplier to assess the purpose, culture, values and behaviours of the Board, as well as its' decision-making, structures and relationships.
