Blackpool courts currently occupy an outdated and ill-suited 1970's building at the heart of the Central Leisure Quarter site and which in practical terms, is dependent on areas of the Police for provision of operational facilities and services.The Council are investigating sites which will house a new court facility. The purpose of the feasibility exercise is therefore to aid discussions with the HMCTS and investigate in detail a series of alternative site relocation options, together with key development cost information and options appraisals.
