Liverpool City Council has to provide travel to day centres for vulnerable adults - currently the council is operating vehicles that are coming to the end of their economic life and this will increase the risks associated with transporting passenger in wheelchairs, increase repair cost and decrease reliability of the service. Fleet Services wish to replace the current vehicles with new either coach built or van conversion minibuses to maintain the reliability and safety of the service.
